Quality Over Quantity#
Corroboration is not a counting exercise. Three sources that each contribute something different — a definition, an explanation of the field, a dated observation — support a relationship better than thirty that repeat one sentence. Repetition is easy to produce and, for that reason, easy to discount.
The strongest corroboration is also the least controllable, which is the point of it. A genuine external article, interview or reference exists because somebody with no stake in the outcome decided it should, and that is precisely what makes it worth more than anything you can commission.
